Collection:
VATEL
In this new collection of floral pieces by FLOOS, Miguel Ángel is inspired by the film 'Vatel', based on French chef in the service of the Prince of Condé, whose mission was to organise a feast for King Louis XIV. This meal is organized with the intention of convincing the king to allow Condé to lead France in their military campaign against Holland. Vatel is in charge of the majestic, extravagant banquets and shows offered during the the king's visit.
"This is my source of inspiration, given the passion I feel for the profession of chef (at that time, it was my profession, which I developed for several years) and also for the majesty and theatricality, using the "Art of the 'artifice.'
Although most of the structures in the collection are circular or oval in shape, I have also added some concave ones, alluding to the Baroque.
