BIOGRAPHY

Nicolaus Peters (1969) is a German master florist who has specialized for many years in the art of ikebana. In 1999, he graduated as a florist and by 2005 he obtained the title of Master Florist with Ursula Wegener. In 2006, achieved the title of Master instructor of Ikebana, reaching the rank of 'Komon'. Nicolaus won the state championship of floral art in Germany in 2008. Since then, he has won several international awards (Champion of Germany, Gold in Singapore, Alpe Adria Cup, etc.). For twenty years he has been a renowned Berlin florist who teaches courses all over the world.

 

PHILOSOPHY

Due to my experience in ikebana, the essential idea behind my floral design is that flowers and arrangements should feel comfortable within my design and be treated with respect

 

AWARDS

2008 Winner of the German Championship of floral design

2016 Gold medal at the Singapore Garden Festival

2019 Third place in the Alpe Adria Cup, Austria
