Wood and glass
> Daniel Santamaria
The sensations that glass (crystal) domes offer are emotions of protection and the conservation of something fragile. The symbology of the material is also very apparent in this design. We can speak of the symbolism of the pomegranate (Punica granatum) in relation to humanity, characterised by order, abundance, shelter, and once again, protection. The orchid Paphiopedilum is also important as a sign of fertility and fragility. Wood and glass (crystal) are materials with lots of character, however, they delve into the harmony of the whole, without losing that character. Wood is related to the protection of different cultures and glass is the essence of purity and cleanliness. The unification of the elements creates a conceptual design, very plastic, rich in textures, symbology and colour
