From nature to the object

> Daniel Santamaria

Vitis vinífera branches are the ones chosen for this creation of a visually strong rectangular structure. The texture brought by the branches provides a very neutral surface ideal for working with a plethora of materials and floral designs. The chosen design is principally characterised by its asymmetry. From the beginning there exists a contrast between the shape and the layout of the materials. The lines of the materials selected also help to create a contrast between the harsh straight line and the curved one. The search for materials is always a job of added importance. Not only must it be about flowers, but it may also be about branches, fruit, seeds, roots, leaves, trunks and more, even the same materials in different states: fresh or dry. The combination of these factors mean that our floral design will be that much richer
