Contrast in harmony
> Britta Ohlrogge
This is a very potent object, even without the floral composition. The lines of the base break out through the capacity and the strength of nature. The view of the whole arrangement at the end of the composition changes thanks to the lines that grow naturally. In the whole history of humanity there has never been a war to obtain and possess plaster as principal material, because it exists around the world in abundance. It could therefore be said that its whiteness reflects purity, immortality and innocence. The plaster is the ideal material for setting the scene for flowers like Fritillaria persica, still yet to be truly recognised. This is a symmetrical work, with clear asymmetrical accents that do not break up the harmony. The contrast between the different materials, the design of the lines and the shape create a picture where one can appreciate every detail
