BIOGRAPHY

Stefan Van Berlo is a Young Belgian florist who began in the world of floristry by studying horticulture at the School Sint-Niklass. He graduated as a teacher in Gant and opened his florist’s, Bloem-illusie, in 2004.

Stefan combines his work at the florist’s with participation in competitions and teaching. In 2010, he was Belgian Cup Champion.

He has carried demonstrations in France, Russia, Spain, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Holland and, also, on television (La Une, Groenland, ATV, Rural TV).

This talented young florist trains teachers at the Antwerp flower arranging school. He also participates in the Alden Biesen annual Project, collaborates with the fashion designer, Geert De Puysseleir, is a ceramic designer for the firm, Walco Pottery, exhibits at Gante floral and is the Editor of the Flor! Magazine.

His pieces have been published in the most important floral art magazines, like Fleur Créatif, as well as other magazines in several countries (New Zealand, France, the UK, Italy, Holland and Russia).

Stefan Van Berlo has been one of the Master Florists who form part of the Floos, the crafter's secret project since 2018.
