'Jenga' tower
> Carles J. Fontanillas
Master florist Carles Jubany realises a freestanding composition with a play of contrast between the strength of the structure and the subtlety of the flowers. The base has been made from pieces of wood that, thanks to their different positions, create different textures. A very interesting structure surrounds the floral work and gives it strength and character. Both the rough textures of the floral materials and the chromatic selection contrast and complement the smooth texture and light colour of the wood. The play of lines and shapes of the flowers and leaves contrast with the symmetry of the structure completely harmoniously. This piece can work equally well as a table centrepiece or a decorative composition for a public space or a hotel. Learn how to realise this design, which is packed full of personality
