In this recipe, Frédéric wants to move away from the typical codes and conventions. This design is very architectural and graphic, with asymmetry very present here. It’s a rather dark colour, it has an opposing texture and it’s a hanging floral arrangement. For those reasons, the vegetal elements give it rhythm, to relieve, as if nature was stronger than the construction and life was starting again. It’s an intimate play between the active and passive vegetable elements. The little plus in this design is the move away from an everyday object
